Take a Step for Diabetes

World Diabetes Day 2013

This year, World Diabetes Day, does not only fall on the 14th November but every day is World Diabetes Day with the new campaign developed by the International Diabetes Federation, "Take a step for Diabetes"

This is an interactive way for the world to come together and move in the direction for Diabetes change together - by doing a number of activities the goal is to reach 371 million steps this year.  The activities include, wearing the blue circle, wearing blue for Diabetes, lighting a monument in blue or even just placing the blue circle on your social media profile picture.  Every activity helps raise the much needed awareness around Diabetes so that early prevention, early diagnosis and preservation of life can occur.
